About the Role
This field-based position focuses on creating brand awareness and positioning the agency as a trusted home care provider. The Sales Representative will prospect, build, and maintain relationships with new and existing referral sources such as hospitals, rehab centers, home health and hospice agencies, senior centers, and community organizations. The goal is to increase client census and service hours while promoting HomeWell as a valued partner in care.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate referrals by promoting agency services in the community.
- Build and maintain lasting relationships with referral sources.
- Conduct in-person visits (minimum of 8 accounts per day) with timely follow-up.
- Represent the agency at networking meetings, community events, and professional organizations.
- Plan weekly sales activities, set goals, and prepare materials for calls.
- Submit weekly sales reports and attend sales meetings to review progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and contact information in the agency’s CRM system.
- Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
- Stay informed about agency services, competitor offerings, and industry trends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of healthcare sales/marketing experience.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Creative, self-driven, and able to problem-solve with sound judgment.
- Organizational and time-management abilities to manage multiple accounts and meet sales goals effectively.
- Professional business image and customer service orientation.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current insurance.
- Passion for helping seniors live with dignity.
